Believer’s Baptism
At West Hucknall Baptist Church, we believe baptism is a beautiful and meaningful step of faith. As Baptists, we practice believer’s baptism—a public declaration of a personal decision to follow Jesus.
Baptism doesn’t make someone a Christian, but it’s a powerful symbol of what God has already done in their heart. It represents dying to an old way of life and being raised into new life with Christ—washed clean, made new, and ready to walk with Him.
We baptise by full immersion, just as Jesus was, because it reflects the depth of surrender and the fullness of life we’re stepping into.
If you're exploring faith or thinking about baptism, we’d love to walk that journey with you. It’s never about having it all together—it’s about saying yes to Jesus
